Contents & modules
The MBA is organized in eight compact modules. Each module consists of multiple courses. In order to successfully finish a course, students must pass
 the online course exam (multiple-choice-quiz) as well as upload a homework.

Module 1: Management

After completing the courses students will be able to reproduce and explain the  various teachings in the field of strategic management in order to classify them practically and apply them. They can develop a corporate strategy and control the implementation of the strategy based on a strategy-specific key performance indicator system. Furthermore, they will be able to apply and differentiate the respective analytical instruments and use them in a targeted manner in the respective company situations.

Module 2: Digital Business

After successfully completing the courses students will be able to understand  the fundamentals of the social transformation from industrial capitalism to the knowledge society. They can explain how the traditional functional logic of markets is changing due to digitalization and why organizations have to react to it. Furthermore they are able to draw their own conclusions for the respective market segments and industries with regard to the significance of digitalization and can derive consequences for companies. The students can reproduce important digitalization topics, to name the most important developments in a subject-specific way and to describe modern technologies.

Module 3: Change Management

The students are able to replicate the historical developments of change management,  to choose between several instrumental approaches, to structure the effects of change processes appropriately and to go through them in phases. They frame the essential process steps in successful change management and can develop these independently, reflect critically and comment on them. They can structure the functional principles of efficient innovation management. They compare the structural and organizational foundations that make successful innovations management possible.

Module 4: Strategic Marketing Management

Marketing comprises all tasks and strategies that are applied to bring services  and products directly to the market and to sell them there. This requires an intelligent catalogue of different measures that are cleverly planned, combined and implemented. The prerequisite for this to succeed is, in any case, the practice of intelligent communication. It therefore seems obvious that new communication channels that are established as a result of digitalization should be used effectively and understood substantially in order to benefit from them. Students are able to independently interpret the interaction of data analytics with business models for the respective entrepreneurial framework.

Module 5: Academic Research

The participants understand and master basic requirements for scientific work.  After the successful completion of the course, the participants will have written the basic structure of the thesis in the form of an exposé.

Module 6: Managerial Accounting and Decision Making

The students learn to describe operational and strategic controlling instruments,  define their areas of application, investigate the mechanisms of action and evaluate their use.

This module consists of the following courses:

  • Operative Controlling - Planning and Budgeting

Module 7: International Financial Accounting

The participants understand the system of the IFRS, know the positions in the  balance sheet and in the profit and loss account and are able to develop and implement accounting strategies. They can analyze and interpret balance sheets by applying of key figures and take appropriate actions.

This module consists of the following courses: 
  • International Financial Reporting Standards I (IFRS I)
  • International Financial Reporting Standards II (IFRS II)

Module 8: Leading People and Organizations

The participants understand and master the instruments of personnel requirements  assessment, personnel procurement, assessment and staff reduction, they know how employees can be helped to achieve efficient and effective cooperation as the „most valuable resource of the company”.

This module consists of the following courses: 
  • Organizational Development and Organizational Diagnostics
  • Leadership and Management Tools
  • Leadership and Applied Psychology

Master Thesis

Students will be trained within the framework of the module to write a thesis independently. The research that would be necessary for the independent scientific work is the prerequisite for the successful completion of the MBA. The first part of this module is the submission of a proper written study with practical relevance. The second part is the oral defence before a scientific committee as well as questions based on the program.
Homework & exams

Students write assignments and prepare case studies. The term papers are to be presented in the form of practical applications summarizing the most important findings. In addition, the scientific formalities must be observed.
The assessment of the homework considers linguistic expression (intelligibility, precision, brevity, etc.), structure and layout (transparency, consistency, etc.), as well as the practical dimension / practical use of the task and, of course, compliance with scientific principles. 

The final project work, which is also presented in the form of a professional oral presentation, aims to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in a practical business situation. The oral presentation is held via video conference.

Admission requirements & application
In order to apply for the MBA General Management, you must at least have a bachelor's degree. Higher degrees will of course be accepted as well. 
Fill out the registration form (including the education contract) and upload it (please note that your diploma must be issued in English, otherwise please provide a certified translation)

After receipt of the invoice and payment of the first instalment the learning platform will be activated

Terms of payment
We offer three payment options for you to choose from: immediate, 50/50 and quarterly.
Immediate payment

Tuition fee is paid after admission to the online study program without any additional costs.

50/50 payment

Pay half of your tuition fee immediately after admission to the study program. The second half of your tuition fee is payable after six months after you start the MBA program. Both installments include no additional costs.

Quarterly payment

Pay your tuition fee in four separate installments, each payable at the end of a quarter. Note that for quarterly payment we add a 2 % handling fee in addition to your tuition fee.
